Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) is conducted by the UPSC for the selection of
candidates for Civil Services (Mains) examination - Written and Interview. The
examination is conducted, once every year, in accordance with the rules
published by the Department of Personnel & Training. Roughly about 7% of
the candidates taking this test qualify to appear in the Main Examination –
this is an indicator of the competitive nature of this test.

(UPSC) of India, an autonomous entity established 1950 under Article 315 of the

Service, Indian Foreign Service, Indian Police Service.

are applying for the Civil Services Aptitude Test can apply in both online and
offline modes.
1.) Eligible candidates who are
applying in online they can apply through the official website of the UPSC .
2.) Eligible applying online
should pay an RS 50 in any respected branches of the State Bank(SB)/Internet
Banking of State Bank/Visa,Master or Debit card.
3.) Interested Candidate who are applying in offline mode need to buy the application from the nearest POST OFFICE on the payment of Rs 100 as central Recruitment Fee stamp.The candidates should get the stamp cancelled from the same post office where they purchased the application form.While filling the application form please be care full.Application can be used only once for applying the CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test).
