About Delhi Post Office: Post offices offer mail-related services such as acceptance
of mail and sale of postage stamps, post office boxes, and sale of packaging
and stationery. In addition, some post offices offer non-postal services such
as passport applications and other government forms, car tax purchase, money
orders, and banking services.
Exam Name which is going to be held: Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant
Eligibility Criteria: Eligible students can possess in 12th Standard pass
with at least Ist Division marks and above from any recognized University with
English as a compulsory subject and should have studied local language of the
Postal Circle concerned / Hindi as Subject at least in 10th.
Selection Procedure: Desired & Eligible candidates can be selected on the
basis of performance in Aptitude Test, Typing Test or Computer Test.
Application Fee Details: - Desired applicants can to pay Examination Fee of Rs. 200/-
(No fee for SC/ST/PH and Women candidates) and it should be deposited in a Post
Office of the circle and obtain ACG-67/UCR receipt, Rs. 50/- for Application
form and it is available at all All Head Post offices and identified Post
offices in the Circles from 11/08/2012 to 25/09/2012.

through prescribed application format available at all Head Post offices and
identified Post offices in the Circles. Dully filled application form along
with Copies of relevant certificates and original receipt of ACG-67/UCR issued
by the identified Post Office of this Circle towards payment of Examination fee
have to be sent to “Direct Recruitment Cell, New Delhi HO, New
Delhi-110001″ on or before 01/10/2012 through Registered Post of India Post
only.
