Defence Bioengineering and Electromedical Laboratory (DEBEL) was formed in April 1982 by bringing together the Aero Bioengineering Unit (ABEU) located in ADE campus and the Electromedical Instrumentation Division (EMID) of LRDE located at LRDE campus.
